If we believe we can, then we will.
Our 5-week clinic, which balances fun, rigorous training and mentorship to produce a positive learning environment, is to instill in the participants self-confidence via the mastery of sports safety and fundamentals.
PRACTICE
We’ve all heard the old saying “Practice Makes Perfect!” This is only true if one is practicing the proper techniques, and eliminating improper techniques. FSSC athletes will learn to methodically focus their energy to attain and refine their skill sets with detailed, constructive instruction in a maximum 5:1, athlete: coach learning environment. Proper practice creates confidence. Confidence breeds perfection. Perfection breeds champions.

Teamwork
Teamwork is the life-blood of community. Teamwork is synergy; the idea that 1 plus 1 equals 3, that an individual is capable of greater feats when functioning as part of an integrated team. Teamwork is essential to success in the classroom, on the field, in the household, in the community, and in the transition to adulthood. Football teaches children the necessity and application of teamwork on the field, to achieve their success off the field as contributing members to society.
Focus
A camera is technically always focused. The lens just needs to be adjusted as needed. In the same way, our minds are constantly processing. We just need to feed our minds the right information for processing, to get the right results. Prime focus prioritizes strategy, tasks, information, and resources to streamline effort in a common direction to achieve a goal, and ultimately helps to build critical thinking skills under pressure. FSSC athletes will learn to focus their minds, skill sets and energy in the dynamic, high-paced environment that sports provides.
DISCIPLINE
There are two types of respect on the FSSC field: competitive respect, and human respect. FSSC athletes will earn competitive respect as they sharpen and demonstrate their skills in a positive, competitive environment that fosters a climate of human respect for each athlete, regardless of talent/skill levels. True sportsmanship recognizes competitive greatness, and each person that may or may not step foot on the field of play.
RESPECT
A major pillar of teamwork is respect. Respect is defined and earned in many capacities, but mutual human respect due unto all people is merited simply because we are human. There is no room for prejudice, bullying, abuse harassment and discrimination (BAHD) on the sports field, because each member has a role to play, else the mission fails. FSSC athletes will learn to respect and value each other on and off the field, and become confident that they have a place on a team, and a valued place in society.

FUTURE STARS SPORTS CLINIC'S MISSION
PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
Future Stars Sports Clinic serves the Fort Walton Beach and surrounding communities as a tool to develop youths ages 6-13 via the powerful sport of sports.
The ultimate objective of the structured 9-week clinic, which balances fun, rigorous training and mentorship to produce a positive learning environment, is to instill in the participants self-confidence via the mastery of sports safety and fundamentals.
Further still, we create an environment in which children integrate together as a team through sport, but more importantly as a community via two community service events, taking owner-ship of our society whose legacy will one day rest in their hands.
“This clinic was authentic, and the people involved are in it for the absolute right reasons, to develop kids into good sports players, but also good people.”
